'Further Follow-Up Complete' Documentation Instructions

Below are the instructions on how to document further follow-up action was taken when you receive a ‘Further Follow-Up Needed’ email or message from a call nurse.

1. Use OACIS log in at: https://timon.musc.edu/CallBack/
2. Select your unit at the top center of the “Discharge Callback” main page
3. Click on “4. View Data Entry” on the left side of the screen under “Reports”
4. Enter the patient’s patcom number and select “Find”
5. Patient’s name will appear, click on patient’s name and full record of discharge call will reopen
6. Scroll down (about three quarters of the way down) just under the “Further Follow-Up Needed” box is a “Further FU Needed – Complete” area
7. Check the checkbox indicated that further follow up is complete and make any notes in the field just below, select Save.
