They have chosen our pediatric discharge call nurse. Her name is Rhonda Lucas and she has been the nurse manager for the primary care pediatric clinic for 11 years. Rhonda’s first day with them will be 8/12. They hope to start making calls for Children’s Hospital with discharges on 9/1.
Debbie and Sonja have a meeting with the manager of this area next week and then she plans to come to the manager meeting to discuss. This will be a win for everyone.
